Overview
Discover the work of Elisabeth Ledoux and talk with the artist at a meeting held within her exhibition at the Paris Anim' Bessie Smith centre.
On the programme: meeting the artist, a screening, a concert, a buffet,… The exhibition "J'ai cessé de me désirer ailleurs" is on view from 5 to 27 October: the artist shows here her travel notebooks, watercolours and sketches painted during her stays in the "Sud", transposed
onto unusual supports: printed silk squares, painted ceramic tiles, watercolours on fabric and mosaics… Elisabeth Ledoux wanted to prolong the dream and bring a burst of colour all the way to Paris.
