Overview
Neither sinner nor faithful, Eve and Penelope transgress their legends. Eve has been given a life sentence. Homicide. Imprisoned since she was 18, she rules her cell, ritualises her solitude, with her Gros Robert dictionary as her companion. Penelope bursts into the dungeon – she too has been given a life sentence for infanticide – and disrupts the daily routine. Sharing territory, verbal jousts, games, confessions, everything is defended, argued, negotiated, experimented with between these four walls. Until they slip into the myths whose names they bear and vigorously dismantle them.
