Overview
By Lison Pinet. Directed by Olivier Werner. With Emmanuelle Erambert Dupuy and Lison Pinet. Running time 1h10. Company L'atelier continu. Neither sinner nor faithful, Eve and Pénélope defy their legend. Eve has been given a life sentence. Homicide.
Imprisoned since she was 18, she rules her cell and ritualises her solitude, with her Gros Robert dictionary as her companion. Pénélope bursts into the cell (she too received a life sentence, for infanticide) and derails the daily routine.
Sharing territory, verbal jousting, games, confessions: everything is defended, argued, negotiated and experimented with between these four walls. Until they slip into the myths whose names they bear and tear them down with vigour.
