Paerish — Paris — 30/04/27

The alternative rock group Paerish performs at La Maroquinerie for a concert marked by its independent influences.

Formed in Paris in 2013, Paerish belongs to the lineage of alternative rock from the 1990s and 2000s. The band made a notable recording debut with the release of its first album, "Semi Finalists", in 2016. That first release laid the foundations for a guitar-driven sound, somewhere between pop melodies and measured distortion, which quickly found an audience among fans of independent music scenes.

On stage, the group delivers a direct set, faithful to the structures of its recorded songs. The energy it generates relies on the interplay between the instruments, in the classic configuration of a rock quartet. Here the band takes over one of Paris's venues most familiar to lovers of contemporary music.

This evening is aimed primarily at listeners of independent rock and distorted guitars. The audience hears the compositions that punctuate the band's discography, from its early tracks up to its more recent productions, in the usual acoustic and visual setting of the venue in the 20th arrondissement.
