Contemporary jazz — PEAKS, led by talented saxophonist Florian Marques, invites you to an unprecedented musical journey with singular sounds and improvisation alongside Roman Reidid.
Led by saxophonist Florian Marques, quartet PEAKS released this year "Invitations", their second album which invites us on a journey from the hills of Twin Peaks to those of Belleville via the High Valleys of the Pyrenees and New York.
Fruit of artistic and human encounters, this new record which gives pride of place to melody and improvisation is conceived as a dialogue between PEAKS and guest musicians with singular artistic personalities.
On this occasion, PEAKS will be in residence at 38Riv in 2026, for four exceptional concerts in quintet with each of their album's guests. This Wednesday, March 23rd, they are delighted to welcome trumpeter Roman Reidid!
Line-up: Florian Marques: saxophone; Roman Reidid: trumpet; Thomas Gaucher: guitar; Arthur Henn: double bass; Corentin Rio: drums. 38Riv Jazz Club is an intimate venue in the heart of the Marais (38 rue de Rivoli, Paris 4th), dedicated to jazz and improvised music.
