Rencontre des Cultures Méditerranéennes

Born out of a desire to bring the two shores of the Mediterranean into dialogue, the Rencontre des Cultures Méditerranéennes is a project that Les Luths du Monde runs with the Cinéma Bonne Garde, built around what music and cinema have in common: telling stories, connecting people, bringing them together. The oud, Andalusian rhythms and the images of the Maghreb or Andalusia each tell, in their own way, the same Mediterranean, made of shared histories. For one day, audiences, musicians and film lovers come together to turn these neighbouring cultures into a single moment of sharing.
