As part of the 2026 cultural season programming at the Chapelle des Carmélites, the Ensemble Aurore Musicale will present a concert/show centered around Music and

La Maison de l'Architecture Occitanie - Pyrénées invites singer-songwriter, guitarist and vocalist Fanny Marcon alongside guitarist and improvisational musician Marc Sens for a sound experience within the baroque setting of the Chapelle des Carmélites.

Brought together for the first time, the two artists share a mutual taste for experimentation and a desire to push the boundaries of music by taking paths of improvisation that are at times winding, at times luminous, and always surprising.

Distortions and dissonances that ultimately find harmony, guitars played with a bow or using various repurposed objects, and effect pedals: in their hands, the electric guitar opens up to unexpected forms.

Both Fanny Marcon and Marc Sens pursue practices that alternate between collective projects and solo endeavors.

Co-founder of Groupe Zone Libre and the duo Scrape, Marc Sens has also performed alongside Caspar Brötzmann and rapper Casey, recorded three albums with Yann Tiersen, and composes for several contemporary dance companies.

Fanny Marcon notably created the daring and liberated folk solo project Mee and Mee, contributed to the raw and energetic sound of Bourdon Mobile, and hosts numerous jam sessions throughout her geographical and artistic journeys.

This unprecedented musical experience, featuring two guitars, multiple speakers, and four hands, is offered as part of the opening-season evening for the Maison de l'Architecture Occitanie - Pyrénées, an association whose missions include: making architecture and its figures visible, promoting the quality of the living environment, spreading architectural culture, and championing a demanding, accessible, and diverse cultural program.

The concert will be followed by a meal and a DJ set.
