Overview
Japanese band SiM brings its alternative metal, blending punk, ska and reggae influences, to the stage of L'Élysée Montmartre.
Formed in 2004 in Kanagawa Prefecture, SiM (Silence iz Mine) made its name by fusing heavy metal with punk, ska and reggae rhythms. Following the debut album Silence iz Mine, released in 2008, the group gained international recognition thanks to The Rumbling, chosen as the theme song for the animated series Attack on Titan. Signed to Sony Music Entertainment Japan, the band develops a heavy yet melodic sound built on complex structures and catchy choruses, rooted in the Japanese alternative scene of the 2000s and 2010s.
On stage, the musicians deliver a dynamic set in which the energy of punk rock meets the technical precision of metal. The band projects an intense presence that engages the audience directly through fast tempos and alternating passages of reggae and massive breakdowns. The performance is aimed at fans of modern metal, extreme music and anime soundtracks.
L'Élysée Montmartre hosts this Parisian date. Located on the boulevard Rochechouart, this historic venue offers a standing configuration ideal for rock and metal concerts. The floor allows you to experience the set close to the musicians, while the balconies offer an overview of the stage.
