Singing Earth Divine — Concert de Noël

A warm, participatory Christmas concert, powered by the energy and voices of Singing Earth Divine.

Founded in Paris in 2012 by Jua Amir Tutein, choir director, and Crystal Petit, artistic director, Singing Earth Divine is far more than a choir: it is a musical and human adventure driven by the energy of the collective, the joy of singing and the pleasure of sharing.

Rooted in the American heritage of its two founders, the choir naturally draws on the traditions of gospel and soul, while developing over the years a musical world all its own.

For this Christmas concert, Singing Earth Divine will blend Christmas carols, traditional gospel, original compositions… and a few surprises.

But a Singing Earth Divine concert is never simply a succession of songs. There is storytelling, sharing, laughter and singing together. In a warm, almost intimate atmosphere, music becomes the thread of a story that the choir and the audience live through together.

Here, there is no question of simply sitting back and listening: the codes of the traditional concert gradually fall away, the hall takes part, the voices meet and everyone, in their own way, becomes part of the show.

A Christmas evening to be lived as much as listened to.

On Friday 11 December, Singing Earth Divine invites you to the Cathédrale Sainte-Croix-des-Arméniens, in Paris's 3rd arrondissement, for an evening marked by music, communion and joy.

A concert to be enjoyed together, to step into the festive season with a lighter heart — and to leave, as is so often the case with Singing Earth Divine, with a smile.
