After treading many French stages as opening act for LANDMVRKS, Motionless In White, Paleface Swiss, and Underoath, alternative quartet Static Dress will headline in Paris on 20 October 2026 at La Maroquinerie, to present their new album "Injury Episode".
Soul Blind and Holder will open the concert! Static Dress's meteoric rise has sparked great expectations for what's next. Their debut concept album "Rouge Carpet Disaster" unveiled in 2022 is recognised as one of the most striking post-hardcore albums.
It's in May 2026 that its successor arrives.
Titled "Injury Episode", this album traces the silent struggles of the period following their debut release, revisiting the Rouge Carpet Disaster universe as a surrealist allegory of trauma, loss and what proved to be the hidden reality behind a lifelong dream.
The album lacks studio artifices and programming – complex emotions are often captured in a single take to let through all the intensity and sensitivity of expression, as if the listener were in the room with them.
Both sonically and thematically, it's the most "human" album Static Dress has ever produced.
