Strangelove

British band Strangelove present their alternative rock tinged with pop, inherited from the 1990s independent scene.

Formed in Bristol in 1991 around singer Patrick Duff, Strangelove followed in the tradition of 1990s British alternative rock. The band gained attention in the mid-1990s with the release of their debut album, Time for the Rest of Your Life, in 1994, before disbanding in 1998. Their repertoire oscillates between sharp guitars and dark songwriting, marked by the torments and aspirations of that era.

On stage, the line-up delivers a direct set, true to the post-punk and independent rock aesthetics of their origins. The performance relies on the commanding stage presence of Patrick Duff and a raw rendition of the band's compositions.

This date in Lyon is particularly aimed at fans of 1990s British rock and followers of the band's discographic journey. The venue hosting the event is L'Amphitheatre, a setting well-suited for contemporary music concerts.
