Overview
VERYSHOW PRODUCTIONS. THE STRANGLERS UK – Punk Rock
Formed in 1974, the provocative Stranglers are set to thrill audiences once again with their distinctive British sound! The setlist is built for the stage, with classics such as “Golden Brown”, “Always The Sun”, “No More Heroes” and “Peaches”, alongside tracks from their latest album, Dark Matters, released on 10 September 2021. Expect a few surprises too… On their most recent tour, the band reworked certain elements that will be added to the hits that paved their career for a one-of-a-kind show. The Stranglers are unquestionably one of the most exciting and influential English bands of recent decades, with 24 singles and 18 albums charting in the Top 40.
« Every Stranglers concert is an event, a daring encounter between reality and dream, a balance between fury and beauty »
« Forty years after their first hit, “No More Heroes”, they still hold the high ground, launched headfirst into the face of disco at the end of the 1970s »
In October 2024, the group celebrated 50 years of career.
