Tom Mcrae

Following a sold-out tour with his band to mark the twenty-fifth anniversary of his debut album, Tom McRae presents a solo show in autumn 2026 tracing his entire career in intimate venues.

An evening of live music and storytelling that moves between the well-known and the overlooked, with the spirit and honesty that have made him an essential British singer-songwriter.

Alone on stage with his guitar, he performs a repertoire that now includes some of the finest songs in British folk and alternative music. Tom McRae's debut album, acclaimed by critics, earned him nominations for the Mercury Prize, a Q Award and the BRIT Award for Best New Artist.

Over the quarter century that followed, he built up one of the most loyal audiences in British music through ten albums, from Just Like Blood and The Alphabet of Hurricanes to his latest release Étrange Hiver, while resisting every trend that might have made him more famous and every shortcut that might have made him less himself.

This evening draws on the full richness of that repertoire. Expect to hear songs you know by heart, a few you had almost forgotten, and sincere, witty anecdotes that link them together.

A blend that makes a Tom McRae concert feel like a long conversation with someone who watches the world closely.
