Overview
The Théâtre du Gouvernail hosts 'Tristesse et joie dans La vie des girafes', a contemporary theatre show that invites poetic and singular reflection.
This theatre creation offers an exploration of human emotions through an original lens: the life of giraffes. Far from a classic animal fable, the play uses this metaphor to address universal themes with subtlety and a touch of absurdity.
On stage, the cast of Charlène Calvo, Théo Seychal, Jean Badets, Luca Millereau and Calvin Jean-Baptiste brings this work to life. The actors' performances and the staging should carry the audience into a world where melancholy and elation sit side by side, inviting a personal and moving reading. The Théâtre du Gouvernail, known for its intimate atmosphere, provides a setting well suited to appreciating this kind of contemporary work.
The show is aimed at audiences seeking theatrical proposals that step off the beaten track, appreciating texts that stimulate the imagination and reflection. It is an opportunity to discover inventive and poetic theatre, carried by a committed company.
