Tunnel Vision

Tunnel Vision follows the hardcore graffiti writer “Rolex”, a passionate bomber devoted to a rare discipline that has almost disappeared from Stockholm’s graffiti scene: painting in the underground metro stations of the city centre, which are difficult to access, knowing that as soon as he sets foot on the platform, the police and transport security staff are on their way.

During those three to five minutes, he feels no stress. On the contrary, with intense concentration, graffiti becomes for him an act of personal fulfilment and freedom.

In its French premiere, the screening at the Consulat will be followed by a question-and-answer session with director Lukas Wigardt. Music has always played an important role in graffiti films, and Tunnel Vision is no exception.

After the Q&A, the evening will continue with a DJ set by Stacey, while previously unseen footage shot over the years during graffiti missions continues to be projected on the big screen. Stacey is a Stockholm-based producer and DJ who blends hip-hop and ambient sounds.

He has produced for artists such as RealYungPhil, Jaeychino, Kwes e and Bygdetrapen, while regularly collaborating with Gud and Woesum. Last year, he also released the EP “Far From Home” with RealYungPhil and toured Europe as a DJ with Woesum.
