Presentation

Twinkle is an immersive, sensitive and poetic show-installation. It is designed for very young children from birth onwards, accompanied by their families and/or carers. The circular seating arrangement brings children and adults down close to the floor around a self-supporting aerial structure, allowing them to share breaths and emotions at very close quarters. Three performers each bring their own distinct colour and disciplines: an aerial dancer, a singer-dancer-puppeteer, and a percussionist-juggler—all united by their blend of singing and movement. Together, they create a universe where the relationships between the earth, the sun and the moon guide the child (and the accompanying adult) through the sensations and emotions of transition. Twinkle is structured in two complementary and inseparable parts: first, the performance itself—a time for the audience to receive, feel, absorb, watch and listen. This is followed by an interactive phase within the set design, treated as an installation to be explored playfully, where the artists invite the audience to move: a time to express oneself, play, move and take action.
