Overview
It is the story of Abezou’ch, a little boy who lives alone with his grandmother Gazella on the edge of the desert. All his family have left for the city. Overcome with grief, he discovers one fine day that his shadow has the shape of a bird. Panicked at first, he does his utmost to hide it. But every evening, as night approaches, the shadow of the bird grows thicker. One night, he starts to fly… Moved by the power of the writing, Muriel Mayette-Holtz commissioned the author Anne Sibran to write a text for young audiences. Convinced that a show aimed at young people should be full of mystery, the two of them imagined together a subtle and sensitive piece, built entirely around games of shadow and silhouette.
