Valentina Magaletti & upsammy

Valentina Magaletti and upsammy unite their percussion and electronic universes on the stage of the Philharmonie de Paris for a concert exploring contemporary sound textures.

Valentina Magaletti, a musician, percussionist and composer originally from Bari, has developed striking work centred around acoustic textures and the drum kit. Since the release of her debut album Valentina plays the Batterie fragile in 2017, she has pursued bold collaborations and solo projects focused on timbre research. Meanwhile, upsammy nurtures a singular approach to electronic music, characterised by complex rhythms and dense soundscapes. Together, the two artists construct a set that intersects organic percussions and meticulous electronic arrangements.

On stage, the performance highlights the complementarity of their practices, moving between direct instrumental approaches and real-time sound processing. This encounter is aimed at fans of experimental electronic music and contemporary sound explorations. The main hall of the Philharmonie de Paris offers acoustics well-suited to these meticulous propositions, allowing audiences to appreciate the precision of the timbres and the dynamics of the arrangements during this Parisian stop.
