Voxtrot

Voxtrot became known internationally in the mid-2000s through two cult EPs, Raised By Wolves and Mothers, Sisters, Daughters & Wives.

This rise was confirmed with the EP Your Biggest Fan in 2006, which debuted at 3rd place in the Billboard Hot Singles Sales chart, then with an eponymous album in 2007, ranked 14th on the Billboard Heatseekers.

The band's trajectory was meteoric, its impact immediate, and its separation in 2010 left a passionate fan community keeping its music alive. Over the years, this audience has only grown, proof that Voxtrot's songs have far outlived the era that saw them born.

After more than ten years of absence, Voxtrot returns with Dreamers in Exile, the band's first album in nearly twenty years, to be released on its own label.

Written and self-produced in Texas at Jason Chronis's Haunted Air Studio, then mixed by Dean Reid (Lana Del Rey, James Blake, The Black Keys), the album reveals a more mature and bold band, trading the exalted torments of youth for reflection on the passage of time, distance between past and present and hope for connection.

Both continuity and reinvention, this comeback does not seek to freeze a legacy, but to expand it. Voxtrot marks its big return with a concert at La Maroquinerie on September 23.
