Overview
Concert – Duration: 01h00 On entering the hall, the audience, about to attend the performance, is transported to the Royal Geographic Society in London: we are about to attend a lecture given by Professor Lidenbrock, who describes his extraordinary voyage… to the centre of the Earth!
Musicians and the conductor take the stage, ready to take part in an extraordinary adventure: they are the explorer's travelling companions. Inspired by Jules Verne's novel, this show is an immersive experience combining music, theatre and cinema.
Beyond its fantastical plot, Jules Verne's novel highlights the need to rethink our relationship with the Planet and to find solutions for preserving our common home for future generations.
Winner of the Public Prize, the Students' Prize and the Orchestre Victor Hugo's Coup de Cœur at the 2024 International Youth Composition Competition. Co-produced with the Orchestre National Avignon Provence
