Zoom

A heartfelt, luminous and striking show about the immeasurable love of a mother, ready to do anything to offer the best to her son.

A courageous mother who struggles for words and finds it difficult to express herself during this parents' evening where we discover her unfiltered, funny and touching, as she sets out to tell her story and that of her son, this difficult boy.

She goes right back to the very beginning, to the cinema auditorium where Burt was conceived. Everything starts there, when she invents a destiny for her son, when she dreams of Hollywood for him, convinced that this is the destiny of her cherished son.

After staging Courgette, Pamela Ravassard takes hold of Gilles Granouillet's text within a framework designed as a film set. Punctuating the narrative with musical sequences, she delivers an incandescent performance, moving from tenderness to laughter with the same strength.

The Avignon audience was not mistaken, making Zoom one of the great hits of the latest festival.
