About — The artist
Anaïs Reno, born 29 November 2003 in Geneva, Switzerland, is an American jazz singer.
Jazz critics praise her as a young singer who "delivers an incredible range of rich vocalisations", has "a voice you encounter only once in a lifetime", and is "a miracle in the making" with natural authority and superb phrasing, who "in a single phrase can recall Ella Fitzgerald".
Singer, pianist and musicologist Michael Feinstein, a specialist in the Great American Songbook repertoire, calls her "a true musical prodigy".
Her first album, recorded in 2020 at the age of sixteen, received a very warm reception: "Lovesome Thing is a sumptuous achievement from an emerging talent who will surely take her place in the jazz firmament in years to come." "This is a memorable debut recording from a young singer of prodigious talent."
