Antoine Dessane is a French composer, born in 1826 in Forcalquier. A musician who emigrated to Canada, he helped introduce classical music to Quebec in the 19th century and was the father of composer Léon Dessane.

Antoine Dessane (9 December 1826 – 8 June 1873) was a French musician and composer who emigrated to Canada in the mid-19th century. His presence in Quebec introduced its residents to classical music, which had until then been little known there. He was the father of composer and organist Léon Dessane, who died in 1930.
