About — The artist
Ashnikko is the blue hurricane of alternative pop: the American based in London blends hyperpop, rap, and nu-metal with feminist manga imagery, from viral hits "Stupid" and "Daisy" to the fantasy universe of the album "Weedkiller". Blue hair, raw writing, and devastating wit: she built a queer and fervent community that dresses up for her shows. Her Paris concerts, theatrical and cathartic, are as much rave as monstrous carnival.
