About — The artist
Benjamin Biolay is the orchestral dandy of French chanson: a gifted composer and arranger, an avowed heir to Gainsbourg, he has released major albums — 'La Superbe', 'Palermo Hollywood', 'Grand Prix', multi-award-winning at the Victoires — and written for some of the greatest voices. A melancholic crooner spanning pop, tango and rock, he is also a recognised actor. On stage, his Paris shows unfold a dark, classy romanticism, delivered by outstanding musicians.
