About — The artist
Criminal is a Chilean thrash metal band from Santiago. It is made up of Anton Reisenegger on guitar and vocals, and Rodrigo Contreras on guitar. Later, they were joined by JJ Vallejo on drums and Juan Francisco Cueto on bass. Dan Biggin remains, so far, the most stable member, although he is more agile on guitar than on bass. In turn, Dan is involved in the production and creation of the album White Hell, for which he lends his "little recording studio". The band draws on elements of thrash metal and death metal, and a touch of groove metal.
In Chile, they are considered one of the most important groups when it comes to exporting hard rock. They gained national and international recognition thanks to their second studio album, Dead Soul, released in 1997. Later, it was Sicario that led them to gain popularity in Europe, thanks to good reviews from various specialist media.
Criminal has seven studio albums, two live albums, two demos, and a DVD produced at the same time as the album White Hell. On this DVD, they compile various concerts from their most recent international tours.
