About — The artist
Didier Boclinville is a Belgian actor and comedian born in Lincé - Sprimont on 25 March 1967.
It was his simultaneous translation into Walloon of Gilbert Bécaud's song "Nathalie" that brought him to a wider audience, and his recurring character Mario Ciccio, the Italian-Belgian from Seraing, has played no small part in his success.
He was discovered at the Festival du Rire de Rochefort in 1998, where he won the viewers' prize.
A comedian who is also an actor, as in La Bande de Liégeois with Renaud Rutten, Pierre Theunis and Albert Cougnet.
He can be seen alongside Gisèle Mariette in Remets ta robe!, a play written by his co-star.
Also in Les Voisins and Les Voisins II, shows co-written by Gisèle Mariette and Pierre Theunis, both of whom act in these shows, along with Betty La Ferrara.
Gisèle Mariette, once again, also wrote Bourdon cherche Petite @beille, which she still performs with Didier Boclinville.
He has also performed with Guy Lemaire, Catherine Haxhe and Laurence Welkenhuyzen in Le Mensonge, and with Chloé Petit and Hugues Hausman in L'Aristo du Cœur, etc.
