About — The artist
Élisabeth Bouchaud (née Tibi) is a French physicist, actress and playwright, born on 1 March 1961 in Tunis. She was an employee of the Commissariat à l'énergie atomique and taught at the École supérieure de physique et de chimie industrielles de la ville de Paris (ESPCI). Since 2015, she has directed the Théâtre de la Reine Blanche in Paris. In 2019, she created the Théâtre Avignon-Reine Blanche in Avignon, and the actor training school La Salle Blanche, with Florient Azoulay and Xavier Gallais. Together, these two theatres and this school make up Les Scènes Blanches.
