About — The artist

Euros Child, born on 16 April 1975, is a Welsh composer and musician, best known for founding and leading Gorky's Zygotic Mynci, of which he had been a member since the age of 15. He spent his childhood in Pembrokeshire, in Wales.

Following the release of his first solo single in November 2005, Donkey Island, he began a tour of the United Kingdom with the Welsh musician Alun Tan Lan. His first solo album, Chops, released in February 2006 on the Whicita label, received a mixed reception from critics.

In 2000, he appeared in Marc Evans' documentary film about Cardiff, Beautiful Mistake, alongside his former band, John Cale and James Dean Bradfield.

He has also been a member of the Scottish alternative rock band Teenage Fanclub since 2019, playing keyboards and providing backing vocals.
