About — The artist
David Shikalepo, born on 9 April 1989 and known by the stage name Exit, is a Namibian musician. He is regarded as a kwaito artist. In 2018, he won the awards for Best Kwaito Artist and Male Artist of the Year at the Namibians Annual Music Awards (NAMAs).
David Shikalepo was a member of the award-winning kwaito group Exit and Mushe before pursuing a solo career. His music is appreciated internationally, notably in South Africa, Botswana, Angola, Zambia and Zimbabwe. He owns Rockaz Productions, a record label, as well as the clothing brand Rockaz Clothing associated with it.
In 2015, he launched his sixth solo album, titled "Black is Boss", in Ongwediva.
