Gabrielle Aplin is a British singer and musician, born on 10 October 1992 in Bath, England.
She set up her own micro-label and made her name by posting videos online. In 2012 she signed with the label Parlophone and sang in an advert for the British department store chain John Lewis. Her cover of The Power of Love reached number one on the UK Singles Chart, the chart for singles sales in the United Kingdom. Her first album, English Rain, was released in May 2013 and reached second place in the album sales chart.
