About — The artist
IAMX is a solo musical project launched by Chris Corner. Chris Corner has repeatedly stated that IAMX is very different from his reality, his true personality, and that his music is a kind of “act”. IAMX's music primarily addresses subjects such as various sexual practices, death, drug intoxication, bisexuality, decadence, obsession, alienation, and some vague allusions to politics. After living in Berlin, where he says he found “the spirit of stepping back from the music industry and taking the path of independence”, Chris Corner currently lives in Los Angeles.
