About — The artist
Java is a French music group, originating from Paris, whose style blends hip-hop and musette. The group was formed in 2000 around Erwan "R.wan" Seguillon and François-Xavier "Fixi" Bossard, and has released four albums: Hawaï (2001), Java sur Seine (2001), Safari Croisière (2003) and Maudits Français (2009). The group disbanded in 2010, but reunited for a tour in 2021 to celebrate its 20th anniversary, then in 2026 for a tour with Winston McAnuff, a prelude to a new group album.
