About — The artist
Judas Priest codified heavy metal: leather, studs, twin guitars and the piercing voice of Rob Halford, the self-proclaimed and widely acknowledged "Metal God". From "British Steel" to "Painkiller", the Birmingham Englishmen wrote the genre's founding anthems — "Breaking the Law", "Living After Midnight", "You've Got Another Thing Comin'" — and influenced everything metal has spawned since. Half a century after their debut, their Paris concerts remain top-tier metal masses.
