About — The artist
Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain is the soundtrack to the film of the same name by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. In addition to two pre-existing songs, it consists of instrumental pieces by Yann Tiersen, half of which come from his previous albums, sometimes with rearrangements, while the rest were composed specifically for the film. The album sold over 1,082,400 copies in France (2006).
