About — The artist
Les Intergalactiques is a science fiction and speculative fiction festival created in 2012 by the 1901 association AOA Prod and Julien Jal Pouget, taking place across several Lyon venues, mainly the MJC Monplaisir.
The event offers, among other things, film screenings (feature-length and short films), a book and small-press fair (novels, comics and illustration), exhibitions, round-table discussions, meetings, interviews, role-playing games, concerts, virtual reality and a geek car boot sale.
Since 2024, short films have been in competition.
The Prix Intergalactiques de la Traduction SFFF, a literary prize devoted to French translations of science fiction, fantasy and fantastique works, is launched for its 14th edition, in 2026.
