About — The artist
Lalisa Manobal, born Pranpriya Manobal on March 27, 1997, known as Lisa, is a Thai rapper, singer, dancer and actress. She rose to fame as a member of the South Korean group Blackpink, which debuted under YG Entertainment in August 2016 and became one of the best-selling girl groups of all time.
In September 2021, Lisa released her debut single album, Lalisa, which made her the first female artist to sell 736,000 copies of an album in one week in South Korea and placed the singles Lalisa and Money in the top ten of the Billboard Global 200. Money became the first song by a female K-pop soloist to reach one billion streams on Spotify. In 2024, Lisa founded her own company, Lloud, and signed with RCA Records; her single Rockstar, from the album Alter Ego (2025), reached number one on the Billboard Global Excl. US chart.
Outside of music, Lisa made her acting debut in 2025 in the third season of the HBO series The White Lotus. She was inducted into the Asian Hall of Fame in 2023 and is a global ambassador for Celine, Bulgari and Louis Vuitton.
