About — The artist

Anna Charlotta Pedersen, known as Lotta Engberg, born on 5 March 1963 in Överkalix (Norrbotten, Sweden), is a Swedish pianist and dansband and pop singer.

In 1987, Lotta Engberg won Melodifestivalen (the Swedish selection for the Eurovision Song Contest) after several attempts, with the song Fyra Bugg & en Coca Cola, renamed Boogaloo for the occasion for rights reasons. She came twelfth in the international contest.

Married to Anders Engberg, the pair performed as a duo from 1989 to 1994. She then resumed her solo career and became so popular that the Swedish postal service issued a stamp bearing her image in 1999.
