Marc Cohen, known as Marc Copland, born on May 27, 1948, in Philadelphia, is an American jazz pianist and saxophonist.
Marc Copland began his career under the name Marc Cohen playing alto saxophone. It wasn't until his forties, after switching to piano, that he made a name for himself in the jazz world.
He regularly collaborates with bassist Gary Peacock and guitarist John Abercrombie.
