About — The artist
Melanie Martinez has built one of the most distinctive worlds in pop: since "Cry Baby" (2015), the New York singer has unspooled concept albums where childhood nursery rhymes collide with dark themes, right through to the fantastical metamorphosis of "PORTALS". Cinematic music videos, a gothic-doll aesthetic and an ultra-devoted fanbase: each era is a world unto itself. Her theatrical, immersive Paris concerts sell out well in advance.
