About — The artist
Justin Gunnar Walter Chancellor (born 19 November 1971) is an English musician, best known as the bassist of the rock band Tool, a position he has held since 1995. Before joining Tool, he played in a band called Peach. Based in the United States, he pursues his musical projects and, together with his wife Shelee Dykman Chancellor, ran a shop called Lobal Orning in Topanga, California, devoted to the music and literature "that shaped and transformed them". The shop closed in 2008. He launched the musical project M.T.Void with Piotr "Glaca" Mohammed of Sweet Noise.
