About — The artist
Richard Fulcher, born 18 November 1968, is an American comedian, actor and screenwriter. Known for his improvised style of comedy, he first came to prominence as a member of the comedy troupe The Mighty Boosh in the United Kingdom.
A law graduate of Dartmouth College, he chose to devote himself to comedy and became a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade. He first launched an improvisation show in Chicago, which he later presented at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In 1998, he joined The Mighty Boosh, for its stage shows and radio series. He played several characters, including Bob Fossil, notably in the television series The Mighty Boosh, broadcast on BBC Three from 2004 to 2007. He also co-wrote and appeared in the sketch series Snuff Box, alongside Matt Berry.
He has also lent his voice to animated series such as Disenchantment, Rick and Morty and Futurama, and appeared in live-action productions including Drunk History, Sexy Murder Marriage Story (2019) and Wonka (2023).
