Riké

Riké, born Eric Monod on 20 December 1972 in Grenoble, is a French singer from the group Sinsemilia, for which he is one of the main authors and composers.

He also pursues a solo career and participated in the Baltimore project in support of hostages worldwide, collaborating with Jacques Higelin, Maurane, and the group Sweet Air, with whom he shared the stage at the Élysée Montmartre for the Fête de la Musique (2007).

He primarily composed his first solo album, Air Frais, with Mike (the other singer from Sinsemilia), aligning himself with the new wave of French variety music, drawing inspiration from Georges Brassens or Jacques Brel, whom he takes as models.

These influences are confirmed in his second album, Vivons!, released on 29 January 2007, the first single from which was Oublie-moi, broadcast on radio stations.

In his third album, Au gré du vent, released in 2013, Riké gives significant space to his daughter Inès.

Riké released his fourth solo album in early 2020. It is essentially an album of guitar covers, allowing listeners to rediscover his emblematic songs from a different perspective.

The lockdown gave him the opportunity to experiment with his accomplice Mike, performing acoustic concerts in living rooms and gardens. From these moments sprang the idea for the Souvenir de saltimbanques tour, which began in 2022 and continues into 2023.
