Rokia Traoré is a Malian singer, songwriter, performer, and guitarist, born on January 24, 1974, in Kati, a suburb of Bamako.
Her discography comprises six albums, released between 1994 and 2016. From 2019 onwards, she has been involved in legal disputes due to conflicts with her former partner over the custody of their daughter, which has led to her imprisonment on several occasions.
