About — The artist
Carlos Lima, known as S.P.Y, is a Brazilian DJ, producer and musician from São Paulo who is based in Bristol. His influences include house, UK garage, R&B and jungle. He mainly releases his music on Hospital Records, the British independent drum and bass label.
His DJ name was originally Spyder. Two months before the release of his first track, he had to change it, as an American producer had already put out an EP under that same name. He dropped the last three letters and became known as S.P.Y or SPY.
