Teddy Swims, real name Jaten Collin Dimsdale, born on September 25, 1992, in Conyers, Georgia (USA), is an American singer-songwriter whose music blends genres such as R&B, soul, country, and pop. He initially garnered fans through song covers on his YouTube channel throughout 2019 and 2020. His third EP, Tough Love (2022), marked his first entry into the Billboard 200.
Swims rose to prominence in 2023 with his single Lose Control, which reached the top 10 in several countries and topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 2024. Considered his most significant single as an artist, it was preceded by the release of his debut studio album I've Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 1), which reached the top 10 in Australia and the Netherlands. In 2024, MTV named Swims their “Push Artist of February.”
