About — The artist
The Del Fuegos are an American garage-style rock band active in the 1980s. Formed in Boston in 1980, the group found success in 1986 with ‘Don't Run Wild’ and ‘I Still Want You’, helped by a much-watched television advert for Miller beer. Among their admirers is Tom Petty, who appears on one of their tracks and had them open for him on one of his tours. The band takes its name from the island of Tierra del Fuego.
