About — The artist
The Kids are a Norwegian rock band from Trondheim, formed in 1979. Their best-known song is Hun Er Forelska i lærer'n, released in 1980, followed by another hit, Norske jenter. The group also released Swedish-language versions for the Swedish market and achieved platinum-certified sales.
Recognisable by their platinum blond hair, The Kids were the first in Norway to produce a music video, which was broadcast on the NRK programme Zikk Zakk. After the band split up, Dag Ingebrigtsen co-founded the group TNT and Torstein Flakne founded Stage Dolls. The group reunited for a tour and released a best-of album in 1996.
