About — The artist
The Roots is the greatest live band in hip-hop history: these Philadelphians fronted by Questlove and Black Thought have played exclusively on instruments for thirty years, from classics like 'Things Fall Apart' and 'You Got Me' to their role as house band for Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show. Black Thought is considered one of the greatest MCs of all time, and their concerts are regarded as summits of musicianship—virtuosic funk jam, jazz and rap. Their rare Paris performances are not to be missed.
