About — The venue
Boom Boom Villette is a 24,000 m2 shopping centre in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. It opened its doors on 30 November 2016 under the name Vill'Up', then took its current name on 20 January 2024, becoming a leisure and dining space.
It is located in the fourth, previously unoccupied, bay of the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie building, which has occupied the other three bays since 1986. This building originated from the project for a large auction hall for the Villette abattoirs, a project abandoned in 1974 by public authorities.
