Château de Longchamp

Château de Longchamp is a lodge in the Bois de Boulogne, in western Paris, between the racecourse of the same name to the south and the Plaine de Jeux de Bagatelle to the north. Built in the mid-19th century by Gabriel Davioud at the request of Baron Haussmann, it was later occupied in turn by Alfred Chauchard and then by François Coty, who had it demolished with a view to rebuilding it in the 1930s; the works were completed after the Second World War. It is now owned by the City of Paris, and has housed the Centre international de l'enfance and, since 2015, the GoodPlanet foundation.
